What time should I be outside to watch the meteor shower??(central time)

  1. I would try closer to two am.  The moon will have set, and the radiant will be closer to your zenith.  But anytime between midnight and when the morning twilight renders them invisible should be good for viewing...  as long as it's not cloudy!

  3. The PEAK is after midnight on August 12th-- however you can see them anytime from about July 15th- August 15th
