OK I posted this question early , Don't know if it was deleted or if it actually went through, So here it is again :)

Is it just me or is every Iranian person miserable? When my family goes to an Iranian festival or even to an Iranian store EVERYONE LOOKS MEAN AND THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE RUDE. They act like you owe them something. I don't know if it's because my family is so friendly and polite or if everyone else is just angry. I mean, I'd LOVE to have Persian friends, but my parents never really had any family friends and I haven't had the chance to meet many Iranians, but I always hear that we are the nicest most loving people with the best culture, but why is it that it looks to be the opposite!!!

SOMEONE PROVE ME WRONG :)

  1. "the nicest most loving people with the best culture"???

lets be Frank : No we are Not ! at least not  anymore now !

but we like to think we are !

now is that a bad thing or a good one i wonder ...

    ps :

Yet i dont see Iranians as "Miserable" People anyway

  2. BUT I LOVE PERSIANS! their chicks are HOT!

look at the media. when an ordinary person sees all that, they automatically think Persians are a buncha cavemen.

BTW, u dont get that unless u live in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennesee or Texas (Point being, too many stupid rednecks).

I dont think Persians are miserable though, i know a lotta non-persians who've had iranian bf/gf or friends who they absolutely adore.

  3. Not every Iranian out there is miserable. A lot of them have suffered a great deal, particularly the first generation who live in the Diaspora. They talk a lot about the past and how things were better during Shah's era compared to the current regime. Iranians are actually known for being hospitable and kind (look up taarof), so maybe it's just the people you are meeting that are so bad akhlaag. By the way, are you Iranian yourself? If you are, just know that Iranians approach other Iranians with a degree of suspicion and apprehension. Who knows what this is a result of...a matter for debate, really!

  4. that's true for work, persian people work too hard because they want to make as much money as they can before they go home and eventually this wears them down and with tiredness comes little or no patience and this is the reason people seem miserable

    BUT

if you go to mehmooni you will see just how friendly they really are. they treat you like a king/queen serving you with such nice persian food and nice persian sweet things and fruit. you can speak to them (mostly about politics) and just have a good time! ... specially in iran if you go to your cousin house for mehmooni even though family Friends are really good aswell!
