Making sure the bride drinks only clear liquids (no cola that could stain her dress), holding the veil and or/train, holding flowers, doing errands day of wedding, basically a slave, but it's worth it in the end!

A personal attendant takes care of the bride.  make sure the bride has everything they need, is on time to get hair, makeup nails etc!  and help her get ready and dressed.  This person can also help coordinate the bridesmaids and could be a person designated to keep track of their personal belongings (purses etc) during the ceremony.

The purses are a big deal, we've always had someone designated for this task at every wedding I've been in, unless your date can put it in there trunk lol.
