Personal avatar?

I see so many people with avatars obviously obtained outside of the page you build an avatar picture, I have a emblem I want to use which is in a personal folder so how can I use it as my avatar picture, any ideas.

Hi Arsenal,

first go to your 360 page and then go to edit photos, then browse the path of the pic from your hard disk drive and save it. Then set it primary in 360. Then go to Yahoo answers "edit info" and set your 360 pic as avatar.

Put it on your yahoo 360, and adjust your profile picture for that.

Save the picture to your hard drive in JPG format.

Click your avatar, name, or "My Profile" link in the green bar above.

Click on the blue "Edit My Info" link to the right of your avatar on profile page.

On that “Edit My Profile” page, you can pick:

• No Picture

• Yahoo! 360 picture : Get my Yahoo! 360 account now!

• Use my Yahoo! Avatar : Edit my Yahoo! Avatar

Click "Get my Yahoo! 360 account now!" (or go to: http://360.yahoo.com )

Post some JPG pictures (on the left side – “Edit Personal Photos).

Choose one as your PRIMARY and SAVE, OK.

RETURN to the " Edit My Profile " page on Yahoo! Answers opened above and choose “Use My 360 Photo” for your avatar. Click PREVIEW at bottom of page, then click OK.

It took several months for me to get my GFC logo on there. Finally, my brother did it for me. Don't think I can take the chance of removing it and placing the brand new GFC logo on there. Yahoo answers and the instructions on 360 were totally worthless. Some of the so-called experts on avatars were total idiots.

Without a computer programming expert, I wouldn't have got it done.
