Question:

Personal injury, how to claim?

My husband has recently broken his hand while cycling on his way to work in the morning. The hand is now plastered and we were just wondering whether any kind of compensation or claim can be processed for such injury in the UK. He works on permanent position in London. Many thanks in advance for your help!

  1. how did he break his hand? who or what do you think is responsible for the accident? you need to give more info

  2. hiiii

  3. not enough detail in question

for instance was he cycling along picking his nose when he fell off his  bike /if he was he could claim for £1 million pounds from the local council because they didnt tell him the  possible consequences of such an action /such are the times we live in

  4. If he just fell off his bike and hurt himself no.

    Sometimes accidents just happen.

edit - if your husband has private accident insurance or his company covers him you could claim from that, otherwise without the other persons details, nothing to claim.

  5. nope, someone/something in the city has to have hurt him.

if he just hurt his hand cycling, lawyers and the court system will laugh you out the door.

  6. It depends if another party was at fault.
