  1. PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN 3!

  2. people that dislike singaporians or any other type of race/culture are usually racists or have some kind of prejudice. Personally, I love asian countries like Singapore, the girls are HOTTT

  3. Am a Singaporean.. and there are so many things I dislike being here.. cant say it out here though! ask me out for a cup of coffee.. shall talk to you in full details..

  4. uhhh, hey there. this is a sticky situation here. I personally have no problem with singaporeans or any race or nationality, however, some will. All I'm saying is this thread could get nasty.

  7. imma malaysian studying in spore for abt a year to date. for me, spore is really a place to live in w/o worries. i mean, look at the traffic! the cars actually DO stop for you. and the max speed they can go is 80km/h? or 70? yeah. but maybe this "safe" situation in spore make sporeans "pampered" and when they go to another country like msia or thailand, they do not have the equipped skill to live in those countries. i have a friend who went to kuala lumpur and she waited for cars to stop for her for 15 mins and no cars did!! and she freaked out when crossing the road bkoz cars just zoom right pass her. thats what i think of sporeans. they are too comfortable in their own country.

  8. Singapore is my homeland. I've been brought up here and to compare to most of the Asian countries I've been, I guess Singapore comes in 1st in my heart.

We are good in everything, education systems, Airport, cleanliness, safety, from heartland areas to highend areas, everywhere is just as perfect as it seems. Of course, I'm not trying to say the wet market is CLEAN just because I talk about cleanliness here! To a certain extend, it is as fishy and wet as a wet market should be! If you don't like that, you can have other choices like the supermarkets etc...

Food here is sumptous! I mean, Singapore is almost as good as a food paradise... You can find all kinds of food at any prices, as long as you really look for it.

Convience: Look at our transport system. We have got bus, MRT, taxis...isn't that really convience for all? And most importantly, if you are hungry, it's so easy to order food or get out to the nearest 7-eleven to grab something to eat.

I do agree that prices of everything is booming, but still, it's worth it, in exchange for a better life, better environment... It's not like I want to boost about Singapore! But because Singapore rocks... You can always have a choice of many things, but people always grumble, complain about this and that, almost everything! That's because we are all spoilt by too many choice!

As for Singaporeans? Hmmm, I feel that everyone (from any countries) are more or less the same... Just because you meet an evil person, that doesn't mean that everyone is evil, or that person of the race is evil!? That's being so unfair!!!

I guess people behave that way because they are too proud to be Singaporeans or that they are living way too comfortably.

    S = SAFE, SECURE!

You Rock Singapore and Happy Birthday! Yay!

  9. Funny...I always like Singapore but I didn't really think of Singaporeans.=c

But I like Singapore a lot! I will definitely come back.=D

  10. i have been to singapore & kuala lumpar and loved both! We stayed in a city hotel, there was plenty to do and its a cheap country to travel to. Everyone we encountered was very friendly... i would go again for sure :)

  11. its okay, safe and all but i don't like the weather....

  12. The feeling is mutual. Singaporeans don't like them (whoever they are) too. By the way, those people who disliked Singaporeans. Are they here in Singapore? Why are they here since they disliked Singaporeans and Singapore so much. How bloody ironic this is.

If they think people from other countries are nice, LOL!!!!

Try another country then. They will get the same reaction too.

Most will come up with something like; "Ohhh... I've visited _________ (insert any country here). The people there are nice and friendly not like Singapore."

They were there as bloody tourists. Of course people there were nice to them because they are spending money there.

What if they were there to live and work. The locals will behave the same way too. If Singaporeans were to go live and work in their country, they will behave just like Singaporeans too.

Stop behaving like pariahs. If you don't like Singapore, don't go there for anything.

But why you still see these people here. Hating Singapore and its people and yet still walk the streets of the country. That explains so much.

  13. There's no ethnic slur unique to Singaporeans, so people either don't hate on them enough or just don't care.

Singies?  Singers?  Singbacks?  Doesn't sound even mildly offensive.

  14. Singapore, is an island country located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. It lies 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of the equator, south of the Malaysian state of Johor and north of Indonesia's Riau Islands. At 707.1 km² (273.0 sq mi), Singapore is one of three remaining true city-states in the world. It is the smallest nation in Southeast Asia.
