Not in my opinion.Use the internet to get prices only.I wouldn't even think about buying a new or used PWC unless i could demo the thing.Used units are usually run very hard and you would be wise to look it over.Also if you live where there is a boat show you'll probably find deals on new units that you couldn't find in the past.

Finally,if you get one make sure you take a safety course so that you are not one of the uneducated morons out there

i'd not recommend it unless you know the seller is reputable

if you do decide to buy be sure the seller is experienced with them. used ones can have a rough life
