how does personality adjustments affects the job efficiency of a worker (particularly a student worker)?

In most work situations, one must adjust his personality to best fit the culture and the environment in that specific work place.

That doesn't mean that you need to completely change your personality or put on a false front.  It just means that you attempt to go with the social and work flow so that you can relate to your co-workers at both the personal and professional level.
