Perspective Drawing course help

Question

I've just got admission in a Bachelors program for Film & TV production. My first semester starts from next week.. Now the syllabus of this semester also includes a perspective drawing course.. I suck really bad when it comes to drawing anything.. I'm worried i might loose some grades because of it.. Could you please tell me how can i get better results?

My guess is that if you've just gained admissions and this is one of your first classes, then it won't be terribly difficult. Many times, success in perspective drawings has to do with how well you listened, applied, and executed what was taught, and every class I've had you use a ruler for the most part. It can be technical, and there may be some basic math, but it isn't anything to fret about. If you are still worried, just go to a search engine and look up "linear perspective".

perspective drawing is easy once you understand the concept. Most likely you will just be drawing box's. I wouldn't worry about it

technical perspective drawing is a bit of a different matter and there is allot of calculation but I highly doubt they will be touching on that. There us to be a bunch of good websites but none of my links seem to be working. Their is a book called drawing comics the marvel way by stan lee which has a decent basic explanation of 1,2, and 3 point perspective. It is a good book and I suggest you give it a read.

I taught my ex-girlfriend,s ten year old daughter both 1 and 2 point perspective, and she totally got it. Don't worry about it. It's really very simple, and a lot of fun.
