Pertamina Open Badminton Championships: Endrue Tampi beats Kurnia Dwi Nurcahyo in third round clash
Endrue Tampi, an emerging player from Indonesia, stayed consistent in his winning run as he easily defeated his un-seeded opponent Kurnia Dwi Nurcahyo in Men’s Singles third round at Pertamina Open Badminton Championships 2012 on Tuesday, December 11, in
Indonesia.
The in-form Endrue, who is the sixth seeded player in Men’s Singles draw of the tournament, displayed his lofty skills on court and registered his mark over Kurnia Dwi in a completely controlled fashion.
Endrue showed a remarkable performance in the arena as he controlled the pace of rallies and dictated his rival in all corners of the court. He easily finished off the match in just 25 minutes in straight sets.
On the other hand, Kurnia Dwi failed to show his brilliance in the arena as he could not place his strokes in gaps and eventually became a prey to his in-form challenger in straight sets without getting close on the board.
The unmatched speed and powerful strokes of Endrue helped him to take charge of the pace from the starting points of opening game.
The tempo of the rallies was very fast in opening game and Endrue impressed local fans with his lofty craft.

Endrue was composed and positive on court in the ending points of second set and bagged the second set with a sound margin of 21-17.
The sixth seeded Indonesian shuttler grabbed a comprehensive victory by crushing his un-seeded rival in just 25 minutes with a superb 21-15 and 21-17 score on the board.
