Carmel school is one of the few (if not the only one) Jewish schools in the state - is this an important factor for you?

Carmel used to produce students with excellent results in TEE but has been slipping a little in the last few years - change of leadership and senior teaching staff.

Entry to all moderate to high fee paying schools is very competitive - to get your child enrolled, you often have to put their name down when they are very young (even when you're pregnant).

I would enquire whether the school has openings for the year group you'd be interested in joining before making big plans.

sorry, i knew nothing about schools in Perth. If its a selective school, then it's hard to get in.
