no , legally your not even allowed to ride a push bike on the path unless it has a bike lane

Which paths would those be?  They are not legal on the street in most jurisdictions.

In Great Britain, it is illegal to ride them on footpaths and it is illegal to ride them on the road.

You are only legally allowed to ride them on private land, where the public have no access.
