Peru's impact on the USA?

Peruvians are very different from central Americans or Mexicans for example you wont see any Peruvian or Argentinian in gangs or in the streets of east L.A  they are more  prepared most people from south America knows the importance of high school and university studies means in America and for me i rather bring more  south Americans to the U.S specially Peruvians with their excellent cuisine.

have u ever noticed that a bunch of T.V. shows mention Peru in them. Its sort of like an exotic place.

i.e. Peruvian fighting frogs in The Simpsons, Inca Kola in The Real World Denver, Johanna from those reality shows on MTV, Peruvian Puff PEppers from Drake and Josh, etc.
