Hey everyone, tomorrow morning I have to give a short talk about the climate changes going on in Peru. I need to address the socio-economic effects that the climate is having on poverty, electricity production , and farming economies. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  1. For the poverty stricken there is no change as everything taken from nothing still leaves nothing. Farming is pretty ashed out but might become fantastically abundant in a year or two if the ash is a source of fertilizer which many times it is. Look at the rebound of Mt. St. Helens in Oregon. Electricity, I have no idea about Peru's energy sources.

  2. There is much concern about the shrinking glaciers in Peru.  They are very important to that country (for multiple reasons).
