The coach of the Peruvian squad, Edwin Jimenez, expressed himself at the win by making the following comments, “We didn’t have a good start but recovered from the second set on and got the victory. Argentina is always a tough rival. This is a long tournament
and is good to start with the right foot.”
On the other hand, Horacio Bastit, the coach of the Argentinean squad, shared his views in the following words, “We are very sad because we made too many errors after a good start. Peru is a tough rival and they have been playing with a stable team. They
established a fast pace and we didn’t execute our serves as good as we did in the first set.”
