    They will give you neutral suggestions or information about Peru...

  2. last I checked the post office in Peru was still delivering the email.

  3. Escorted tours in Cusco and Peru are quite safe when there is a strike; however flyghts and the train to Machupicchu do not work in serious strikes, so it is much better to visit remote sites where the strike are quite far away from the main cities.
