Post-match
The head coach of Peru, Natalia Málaga, disclosed her thoughts after the match and stated: “I am not that pleased with tonight’s results and we were not sure about the opponent’s game. I am confident that we will improve in the following days and we will
work on some mistakes we made such as in reception and spikes. The girls know that they always have to do their best in every match but I think they were not at their best because it was the first match of the competition.”
Clarivett Yllescas, the captain of Peru expressed her delight at their win over Egypt. Nonetheless, she acknowledged that they made a lot unnecessary mistakes in the match, which they needed to avoid in the upcoming matches. On the whole, she was pleased

Ahmed Mohamed, the mentor of Egyptian team explained the reason for their failure. He said his side got influenced by the atmosphere and cheering of local spectators. He hoped to get over this weakness in the next match. Likewise, the team captain of Egypt,
Yasmin Hussein, committed to a better performance in the next match.
