Last time, the Women’s Junior Volleyball World Championship was hosted by Mexico in 2009. Mexican Cities of Tijuana and Mexicali set up excellent arrangements and event was huge success. Ladies from Germany and Dominican Republic settled for the finals,
where Germans emerged as top team of the tournament. Hence, German Team will enter this year’s competition as the defending champion. Brazil finished third, while Bulgaria secured fourth position in the ranking.
This time around, the volleyball action will take centre stage in Peru. City of Lima will have the honour of providing grounds for elite volleyball competition for second time in the history of this event. Back in the day, the 1989 Women’s Junior Volleyball
