Question:

Peruvian spices for Canary Bean soup?

by  |  earlier

I recently purchased a bag of Goya Canary Beans (Frigoles Canario). The recipe on the bag for Puruvian stew calls for a packet of Sazon Goya con Culantry y Achiote. I found this at my local mexican supermarket, but half of the ingredients were preservatives. since i have a well stocked spice cabinet i though I could just make this myself.

Can anyone tell me what spices to substitute for this premade soup mix? Or, what is your recipe for Purvian stew?

Thanks!
