Daniele Sebastiani believes that the Napoli-owned striker is ‘pure talent’, and has revealed that he will push to keep the Azzurri attacker for another season.
Pescara President, Daniele Sebastiani, has revealed his admiration for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lorenzo-Insigne-c22431, and has stated that he wants to prolong the striker’s stay at the newly promoted outfit.
The Partenopei owned attacker spent the last season on loan to the Dolphins, where he played a key role in the club’s successful campaign in Serie B, and ultimately helped them to earn a promotion to Serie A.
Sebastiani was all praise for Insigne and stated that the young striker packs a lot of talent in him.
The Dolphins chief expressed his belief that the attacker is destined to be a star of the game, and revealed that he wants the Azzurri striker to stay with his outfit for another season.
However, the President himself stated that retaining Insigne might be difficult as Aurelio Di Laurentiis also shares his enthusiasm for the budding star, and wants him to play for Napoli.
The Delfini patron went on to reveal that he has reached an arrangement with his Partenopei counterpart, ensuring that Pescara will be the preferred destination for the Partenopei striker, if the club chooses to send him away on loan or on permanent basis.
While talking to the press, the Biancazzurri chairman said:
“I think Lorenzo is predestined, we are talking about pure talent. I’d like to keep him for another year here, but De Laurentiis also likes him. For his part, I have a half-promise - if they decide he will leave Napoli, to sell him or on loan, Pescara is
a preferred destination.”
Sebastiani then steered his attention towards Pescara starlet, Marco Verratti, whose future with the club has been the subject of a lot of speculation following his brilliant performance at the promoted outfit in the last season.
The Dolphins chief revealed that he has received interest from Juventus, Napoli and other clubs for the young midfielder.
The Biancazzurri patron admitted that he is evaluating the offers, and suggested that he may opt for a player swap deal with the Partenopei.
