Question:

Pest problem. What are these small insects on my window?

Practically every summer, there is a sudden outburst of small, flying insects that seem to congregate over the windows at the front of my house. They're very tiny, smaller than a pin head, and have slightly long bodies. They never really try to escape when provoked, and just continue to crawl around the outside of the window.

It's become very irritating, as opening the windows results in them crawling into the house and getting into the tightest spaces ie. inside my computer monitor, or even in bottles. Does anyone have any idea what these buggers are?

  1. Steven I think your pest are whiteflies they are very tiny and sometimes come in thousands.  There lot of shrubs that attract them. Gardinia is at the top of list for attracting whiteflies. See web link below for more detail.
