Some may not like my answer, but after all we are here to give opinions, aren't we? I do not look at animals as being "pets". I prefer to see them as friends, companions if you will. The word pet sounds like we find ourselves inferior. They choose us as much as we choose them. Most could attack you as quick as you could them. It is a mutual friendship. Not, just something there to pet. I've yet to understand this train of thought. Sorry if it seems rude.

cats they are easy to take care. Except of the smelly litterboxes, dogs because they are fun, cute and easy to take care of and great motivation for going for walks.Fishies because they are cute and easy to take care of , and any other little creature that crosses my path. :0)
