I have a dog even after give him a bath with shampoo.why does he smell very bad?

Check to make sure they don't have an ear infection, sometimes it can make there whole selves smell bad you can tell if its red and black gunk completely filled inside, otherwise sometimes dogs get a skin problem that can be easily treated with antibiotics that will also cause the skin to just stink, these both are especially common in cocker spaniels

Just make sure your not washing your dog to much just once a month or you can really dry out the skin, and it removes important oils from the coat.

my dog does that two i have to dogs ones a female and the other a male after a give the girl a bath she smells great and takes like 2 weeks till she stinks again but my male dog uhhhh he smells bad again after an hour! i guess cause its a male dog it does but try bathing it 2-4 times it will make him smell better longer

Give him a shower everyday, then i promise you he wont smell bad, they are like humans if we dont take showers everyday we get odors ...

Well, you ony need to bath him once a week and all dogs have a dog smell. It shouldn't be rancid or anything, but it's a normal dog smell that is worse when they are wet. Get use to it. They also seem to smell like their food so maybe if you change his food he might smell better.
