Pet for me and sister please help me Thankyou!?

Question

My sister want a fish for her pet because i told her that i would get her one.I am going to get her a betta fish because i like the colors and she would probably like them two.I have like five questions.

1.how much do they cost

2.im thinking about gettting me one two since im getting hermit crabs(not to put in the same tank because im getting land crabs)?

3.can they go in one of those fish bowls that kind of rounded?

I dont want to put them in the same tank because my sister likes to stare at stuff and i dont want it to get scared.Or should they be together.

4.How can you tell the gender of a betta fish?

5.How many eggs can a betta fish lay at the same time?How many actually live?Will they parents eat the babies?
