how many times should i feed my gold fish..?

one or two times a day. if you are feeding them 2 times feed them in the morning and at night.

Generally, its better to underfeed your fish than overfeed your fish. Pet fish can go at least a few days without eating.

fish have slow metabolisms, and goldfish are especially messy. they will beg, but do not need to be fed but once every other day, just enough so they eat it all in 3 minutes.

the reason it says more on the food container is that the companies know if you feed them what they are supposed to be eating, then they will never sell their food! haha.

One or twice a day. A few flakes or pellets. it may say on the back of the food container the recommended amount. Also make sure that food is not building up at the bottom of their tank, because if you are feeding them more than they eat it can rot an get all moldy which means you have to clean your tank more. D:

but if you need to go on a vacation or just feel like it,  then they make dissolvable pellets/shell shaped things. they dissolve over time so that it lets out a little bit of food gradually. they last 3 days or so depending on the kind you get.

depends on the type of food you buy and how many fish you have, its usually a pinch of food a day for one fish or you can get the food where you only have to feed them once a week

when i used to have goldies i would feed a pinch in the morn and a pinch at nnight but dont feed to much because goldies have a habit of getting fat!
