Pet issue....need help?

Question

my dog got hurt ...he was limping and I looked at his paw and he was bleeding I looked at the paw and it looks like it's something with the nail....shud I take him to the vet ...or can I handle this my self?

You can probably handle it your self and save a vet bill. I don't know if you are familiar with a product called quick clot or quick stop it is used to clot the blood flow externally..In a pinch you could just wrap it for a bit and see if the bleeding stops...when he walks on it it might start bleeding again.so try to keep him off of it for a few hours.. if it is still bleeding after a few hours  than maybe a trip to the vet is needed...don't rush it unless it is losing a lot of blood.

you should wipe off the blood and see if its something easy like a cut or something stuck in him. but if you cant tell you should probably bring him to the vet cause you dont wanna make it any worse.

It could be a loooong weekend dealing with your dog.

Risking infection is not a worry you need, either.

Call the vet.  He/she may advise you w/o making a trip to the office.   Good Luck:)

Take him to the vet. A blood vessel may have burst when He stubbed his toe or something like that. Hope I helped!
