i found a really cute mouse outside. should i keep it? my dad already said i can.

NO!  It is wild and probably carrying a few diseases that you won't want to have.  Please put it back and wash your hands with a good antibacterial soap.

My girlfriend found a wild mouse and kept it. You probably could but one thing you better watch out for is rabies.

No, they carry way too many known zoonoses (animal diseases that pass to humans) that haven't even been wiped out completely in years of "sanitary" indoor controlled breeding. I'd go get one for a buck or two from a private breeder if you really want one.

Yes you can if u take it to the vet to see if it's healthy safe to keep & find out what gender it is.

Wild animals carry diseases. If your dad wants to spend $60 on a vet bill to get the mouse checked out then keep it but it would be cheaper to just go to the pet store and buy another mouse.
