Pet pet pet?

im the 16 in a house filled with adults i dont really have anyone to talk to wen my friends r away. my parents said no dog and no cats/ferrets /rabbits. So any one have any suggestions?

get a small turtle or tell them that you are lonely and would be really responible if you got a pet.

go get a hamster, they are just so cute!

Get a parakeet. If you train them well, you can get very attached to them, as can they to you. I have a parakeet, and if you train it to, it will hop on your shoulder or even fly to you. They are harder to take care of than other animals like fish, but they are definitely worth it if you can handle the responsibility.

Make sure that your parents know that all of the responsibilities will be yours, and they won't have to help at all, then stick to your promises, and you should be able to get one.

I would suggest a beta fish.  They are low maintenance and cost effective.  your parents may not mind that so much.

the cheapist/easiest would Hermit crabs or fish. but there are also snakes, lizards, chameleons, iguanas, etc. for reptiles. there are mice, rats and birds too.
