Pet rat chews on bars?

i just got two new pet rats. my albino likes to chew on the wire bars on the cage. will she get through if she chews enough?

i have a hamster and she did that too the wires were metal and im pretty sure she wantred to get out because it was her first nights she finally gave up so ur rat should not be able to get throught the metal bars

no she wont chew through if the bars are metal, but if they're plastic then yeah she's going to get out. I suggest and apple tree branch for her to chew on... it'll wear down her teeth, and the urge to chew and it will also save you a new cage

I suggest getting her some chew blocks anyway...their teeth are always growing, therefore they are always gnawing.
