When it is sunday, what does the pet shop (the ones in the shopping centre) do with the animals, especially the puppies as they will need to be fed 3 times a day. Do they somehow go into the shopping centre or does someone look after the animals?

  1. Where I work, it's open on Sundays, but when we're closed on Christmas Day, the manager goes in and feeds/cleans out the animals- we don't sell puppies, but we do sell small animals.

  2. I believe the shop keeper comes in on the sunday and feeds them while some shops actually take them home or to a special care place. It just depends on the owner of the store and their expenses and lifestyles i guess. If they don't do either - hope to god their being fed!

  3. If you have small animals that need care every day of the week...generally the owner or a trusted employee will stop in on the closed days and feed/water everyone. They don't usually take them out for walks or let them romp around or anything though...

So the puppies are still stuck in that little tiny cage all day with no attention.

Enough to make you not buy from a pet store?
