Pet shop that sells sick and dying reptiles?

i went to a pet store yesterday to pick up some crickets and saw that all of the reptiles they sold were sick looking, dying or even dead. i just want to know where i could go to report the store for animal abuse

The police wont do nothing they just care about there donuts. Get aspca on Them if i was there ill freaking break the tanks and save all those poor reptiles.

You can contact your local animal control or humane society. This is definately considered cruelty and animal abuse. If the animals are sick, then they need to see a veterinarian. I feel so sorry for the animals. Some pet stores are really horrible. I've never been in a pet store that was nice. They always have dirty cages, sick animals, dead animals, or puppies on wire grate floors. If its not one problem, it's another. The only good pet store I've seen, well it wasn't a pet store, was a stand at the mall.

i have reported pet shops that are clearly in neglect as far as health and care for their animals to the local animal control and health dept.

you'll want to report it to the police, the local spca or the local animal control. Look in your local phone book in the government section and you'll find the necessary bureau in your area to report something like this. Unfortunately this is very common.
