Pet store information?

I am thinking about applying to a pet store and would like to know what basic kinds of animals are sold there and care sheets for them like what are the types of lizards and turtles that are sold in a small to medium pet store again care sheets will be very helpful thanks

it really depends on the owners of the pet store to say how many animals are in it. There is a very tiny pet shop in the town where i live, but they have the biggest selection of reptiles ive ever seen, its unreal. But the basic animals are

it depends on the pet store...i would probably get a friend and go around to all the pet stores that you are thinking about applying to and just looking around see what they have then the next day go back to the ones that you liked and apply.

i have been working in pet stores for years and it just depends on how the store is and where .. i worked in ohio and now in kansas and things were different. ex. wichita cannot sell constricting snakes and anything that grows over 4 ft. most places red eared sliders are illegal to sell too.. i worked at petland they sell dogs cats hamsters gerbils mice rats g pigs rabbits chinchillas fish and an array of reptiles. usually..depending on the store again.. turtles arent sold.. they arent a common pet to find in a store at least with my experiece.. most common reptile anoles bearded dragons cornsnakes ball pythons columbian red tail boas chinese water dragon different types of skinks sometimes agamas uromastyx geckos.. usually leopard house and fat tail.. amphibians usually are firebelly newts firebelly toads red eye tree frogs pac man frogs and then things like fiddler crabs emperor scorpions and rosehair and pink toe tarantulas.. also word of advice if you get the job do know your stuff.. and i will tell you its a stinky poopy job.. you gotta clean out cages and feed these animals.. people think working at a pet shop is fun and games.. ive done it for 5 years the fun effect wears off quick lol.. as for info its all over the internet and im sure they will teach you what you dont know.. experience is a huge plus to get hired tho
