A dog pissed on my car rims while there was some brake dust of them and made a stain. I have tried cleaner wax, de greaser, and scratch remover to try to get it off and none of them have worked. These are clear coated allumn. wheels. Please help ......there has to be a way to get the stain off of my wheels!

  1. The last resort before stripping and recoating is color sanding. Try this site.

  2. Big problem as it has etched the clear coat into the aluminum> Bad news Have to contact the maker of the rims and ask them if there is a way to refinish the rims>

  3. I'm not sure the brake dust has any relevance, but if the clear coat is where the stain is at, and not the aluminum itself, you can strip it acetone.  If its in the aluminum, you'll need to use elbow grease and polishing compound.
