Petechiae- is this normal?

On my 17th birthday I got extremely sick and ended up in the hospital. I vomited and dry heaved for 12 hours straight nonstop. The doctor gave me 4 liters of fluids until I could finally pee. I had formed petechiae (little red bursted blood vessels) on my face. I am now 20 years old and every time I get sick and vomit my face always gets them. Is this normal to do or is it something I should consult my doctor about?

The petechiae is just from straining your face when you are vomiting.  If the marks go away afterwards, then you should be fine.  Just try to relax if you feel that you may vomit when sick.
