Peter Pan (2003) Questions?

I live in the U.K and my cousin is obsessed with the film and weve been looking everywhere for it, but gave up so i'm gonna order it off Amazon for her.

Anyways, she's been watching it online for a few months and keeps asking me what happens in the Alternative Ending on the Dvd cos she can't find the full length of it, it was on youtube but not anymore.

Does anyone know where else she can watch it?

Also, she's so into the whole Peter and Wendy thing so she wants to know what happens to Jane, Wendy's daughter in the Alternative Ending, she's alot younger than Peter right? So how comes he took her back to Neverland? What about Wendy, wasn't he heartbroken that she's grown up?

So i assume Peter only wanted Jane so she can tell him stories and that? Cos she's too young for him to like her like he did with Wendy.

He was in love with Wendy wasn't he?

Sorry so many questions! My cousin is a pain.

Thankyou :)

  1. Since Peter Pan doesn't age, he and Jane are roughly the same age. He took her back to Neverland for the same reason he took Wendy. He didn't seem heartbroken about Wendy. Yes I think he was sort of in love with Wendy, but since they were only kids it was an odd sort of love.

  2. Strictly speaking, he was too old for Wendy, too.  But then he doesn't age, so it's irrelevant. Peter comes back for Wendy because she promised not to grow up, but obviously did anyway (he had forgotten to come for a while). He was briefly upset about Wendy, but being essentially a child, he got over it. That's kind of the point. And though he might have loved Wendy, he didn't want to, again because he didn't want to grow up, and true romantic love cannot be experienced by a child.

  3. Well i live in the U.S.A. u can find peter pan in almost every store. I'm not sure what happens to Jane i haven't seen the movie since i was like 7 in only 11 still i just don't really remember but i don't think Peter is really much older then Jane.
