Former Manchester United shot stopper, Peter Schmeichel has come forth and admitted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463 is bound to adjust to life in the Premier League and that the keeper has already shown just how good he really is.
Despite De Gea slowly working his way up the ranks at Old Trafford, the keeper is still subject to a lot of heavy criticism. Many believe that the keeper isn’t half as good as most critics claim him to be and that United wasted their money on making a move
for him.
However, Schmeichel seems to be rather disappointed by these critics and has claimed that the keeper is one of the best young keepers he has seen.
The former United goal keeper went on to applaud the Spaniards performance against Norwich, as he believes that the was the first time he showed just what he was capable of.
When talking about De Gea, Schmeichel is quoted to have said: "I'm disappointed on behalf of De Gea and the criticism he has had because I thought in this country you give everybody a chance"
"But he's come through that challenge really well and I like what I see there now in his game.”
"It speaks volumes for De Gea's character that he has come through it with some cracking saves against Norwich."
He then went on to add that De Gea was a great goal keeper and that he would have a massive impact on United over the coming years.
"There's no doubt in my mind that he [De Gea] is a great goalkeeper”

Nonetheless, the way De Gea played against Norwich was quite brilliant. The keeper singlehandedly managed to keep his side in the game and his brilliant saves helped them win the game in the end.
All in all, if the Spaniard is given ample time to adjust to life in the Premier League, while he gains experience along the way, he is bound to go down as one of the best in the business.
