The South African coach Peter de Villiers is expecting big effort from his experienced side against the Wallabies on August 13 in Durban.
Peter de Villiers has named a most test capped Springboks side in the history of South African rugby to get rid of repeated defeats in the underway tournament of Tri-Nations. De Villiers announced an 810 capped side on August 12 for their upcoming clash
against Australia. Earlier, South Africa had played with 750 test caps team but remained failed to down the Wallabies in 2010.
Talking to the reporters on August 13, the Boks Coach De Villiers said that he is hopeful to get encouraging result from his seasoned side. The coach further said that his side is triggered off and feeling great huger for victory. The South Africans are
struggling with their meagre performance in the current event of Tri-Nations due to the absence of their senior players. The Boks selectors had rested as many as their 21 key players for the opening two games of Tri-Nations Cup and were left l*****g their
wounds on both occasions.
De Villiers said that he feels great with the return of time-tested players in his side after a notable absence.
He said, “The guys are determined to become the respected team they were two years ago. That is motivation enough to win tomorrow. But at the same we can't live in the past if we are to start winning consistently again. Yes you learn from your mistakes,
and what happened overseas was not good for the country, but you can't dwell too long on trying to rectify wrongs because then you lose focus on how to go forward.”
Peter de Villiers further said that experience always flies on its own wings and that what the Boks selectors are expecting from their side.
He added, “They understand the heavy pressure on them, but then we pay them to play under pressure.”
The Boks will encounter the Wallabies in their second meeting of this on August 13 in Durban.
