  1. so if peter wants the ratio of pine trees to oak tree to be 7:2 that means that for every 7 pine trees he plants, he has to plant two oak trees. For example, lets say he wanted to plant 14 pine trees, then he would have to plants 4 oak trees

    14:4 = 7:2
