Peter’s trainer responds to Klitschko, predicts knockout
Abel Sanchez, who trains former heavyweight champion Samuel Peter, has weighed in on the talk leading up to a second bout with WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko.  The two are scheduled to meet Saturday in Germany.  Five years ago Peter challenged Klitschko for the first time, and despite losing a decision, floored Klitschko no less than three times. If you listen to Sanchez, this time Peter will hurt Klitschko but not let him recover.
Sanchez stated that he is sick of all the talk from the Klitschko camp about knocking Peter out.  In particular he was referring to Klitschko’s comments, when Klitschko said: "I don't want to dream about this fight, otherwise, it's a 'Nigerian Nightmare.'  But I will let my fists talk in the ring instead of talking dreams.  No dreams, but I'll just say don't miss it.”  Klitschko continued with the finishing verbal blow: “Don't go to the refrigerator to get a beer, because I do see myself knocking Samuel Peter out -- earlier, later, with a left hook or a right hand or whatever. I treat every fight as if it is my last fight."
Sanchez said in response that while the fight will involve a knockout, it will be his man who will be dishing it out.  "There is too much chatter about Wladimir Klitschko getting a knockout victory,” Sanchez said.  “I think this is [expletive]. It's going to be a short fight, and it's going to be Sam who will win by knockout, and at most he'll get it by the sixth round.”
Peter, who is promoted by Top Rank, has won his last four bouts, all by way of knockout.  He said in fighting Klitschko he has a lot to prove and that he will not waste the opportunity to defeat the reigning champion.  “I have a chance to redeem myself from the 2005 fight. It is going to be a great fight. I am getting another chance to prove that I am the best heavyweight champion in all. The loss was a bad mistake. This time I am going to prove that I can become a champion again.”
Peter will turn 30 on 6 September, five days before the fight.
