went for my interview few days back and they said my petition need to be sent back to the U. S where it was approved, how long does it take cause i'm so missing my husband, please i need some answers

  1. Well, that's all but impossible to say. The immigrant visa section has to write up a report and send it with your petition. You haven't said why they're doing this, but it would be a serious reason. Once USCIS gets the petition with the report, they'll send it to your husband and he'll have 90 days to respond. If he doesn't respond at all, they'll revoke your petition. If he does respond, they'll read through it and decide whether to reinstate it and send it back to the embassy or to revoke it. However, there's no real time frame on this. USCIS has no legal obligation to process this within any particular time frame, so they'll get to it, when they get to it. You could be in for a very long wait.
