Petr Cech, the Chelsea goalkeeper, said he believed that Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti was experienced enough to cope with the current pressures the Blues were facing, on and off the pitch. The Blues have not registered a win in their last five matches, which
has seen them slip to fourth place on the Premier League table.
However, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882 international was confident that Carlo Ancelotti was capable of handling the current situation. The Italian manager has previously managed sides like AC Milan and Juventus, and did very well with the big sides. He was confident
a Blues revival was underway and that it was only a matter of time http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 were back to winning ways.
Petr Cech said while speaking to reporters, “No-one is happy about the current situation, obviously. We had a good gap ahead of other teams but lost it. Carlo has plenty of experience as he has gone through Milan and Juventus. He knows how things work
in big clubs. He is not panicking. In training we do as we have always done.”
The Chelsea stopper was asked about the exit of Ray Wilkins, the assistant coach, and he stated that he did not believe that their recent slump was because of his sudden departure. He said,
"No, I don't think so. It's always a surprise when someone leaves at a time when no-one really expects it. But such things happen in football and our team is so experienced as to be able to cope with it.”
However, Cech had nice things to say about the former Chelsea assistant coach. He continued,
“Ray was a very important person and everybody was used to his presence around the team. He used to be very popular among us players. But we cannot take that as the reason why we have been doing badly. Ray was not on the pitch, after all.”
Cech revealed that he felt that everyone should respect the decisions made by the club, even if they did not understand or agree with them. The Chelsea goal keeper insisted that despite what the rumors said, the players at the club did not have any decision-making
abilities. He said that Wilkins departure was for the best if it was the clubs decision.
He said, “One day he was at training and the following day he was not. Nobody knew why. The club is managed by people who have a certain vision how everything should work and if they have decided this way, then they must have had a good reason. We must
respect that. Us players don't have any privilege to affect their decision-making.”
