Dan Petrescu believes that Zvjezdan Misimović and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Kuranyi-c20736 will silence their critics after scoring in the UEFA Europa League tie against the German outfit
Dynamo Moscow will play the upcoming UEFA Europa League play-off round return leg against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 at Arena Khimki on Tuesday on the back of a 3-2 win in the Russian Premier League against Lokomotiv Moscow at Stadion Lokomotiv
(Moscow).
The Louders will play the second-leg after suffering a 2-0 defeat against the Swabians last week.
Dynamo head coach, Dan Petrescu, has admitted that his side needs a bit of luck besides hard work to win the return leg despite playing the match at their home stadium and in front of their own fans.
The fact that various football analysts blamed Zvjezdan Misimović and Kevin Kuranyi for their chaotic loss against the German side disappoints Petrescu, who backed the star duo to shine in the upcoming European match.
Kuranyi, who scored 11 goals last term, has failed to impress this season, having failed to score a single goal since the start of the Russian championship while Misimović, who scored 8 goals last term, is struggling to rediscover
his old form that made him a fan favourite last season.
“Kuranyi and Misimović are two very important players for the club and will remain so as long as I'm here. I think they will start scoring important goals for the club in near future. Hopefully, they will start scoring from tomorrow.”
The Russian First Division winner was quoted as saying.
There is little arguing to the statement that the White-blues are lacking strikers at the moment after sending http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Samedov-c4609 to Lokomotiv Moscow
earlier this month.
The Moscow-based club are now left with only two first team strikers: Kuranyi and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Kokorin-c4576. Keeping these issues in mind, Petrescu has hinted at signing new players during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Romanian tactician, who joined the Musora after resigning from Kuban Krasnodar, last week, admitted that the Russian outfit needs fresh faces if they are to reclaim a decent spot on the league table.
