Petrol station sell petrol or water???? legal advice please?

Last week I filled up £44.00 fuel for my car, later find out, it's WATER that I've filled into my tank NOT unleaded.

I contacted the fuel station Manager, and given the reports from RAC and Repair Work Shop. The Manager told me, someone from the HQ will contact me within 1 - 2 weeks time. I am not getting my refund or compensation such as £44.00 (fuel), taxi cost, unable to work , lost time,Rac, plus work shop repair cost.

Can I file this to legal case? where can I make a complaint?

P/S: I have the prof (water) that pump-out from my car

  1. To the best of my knowledge, petrol stations sell petrol (gasoline to power an out engine).  Pubs sell water in the form of beer, lager and ale and stout, it changes to water in time.

Contact a solicitor and file a complaint, Ask to be heard in the Old Bailey.

  2. You LATER found out

If you had put water in you wouldn't have got off the station forecourt without knowing it.
