Question:

Petrol stations in Finland and Norway..?

In a few weeks I'm going to be driving a hire car through the Northern half of Finland and a little bit of Norway.

This is probably a silly question, it's not like we're going to Antarctica, but I've been wondering- will we be OK finding petrol stations? Are there enough of them around that we can be confident that we'll find somewhere to refuel as long as we don't run too low on fuel?

Is there any map, or any other way, we can find out where the petrol stations are?

Thanks in advance

Finland is dominated by the Neste Oil company, there are also Shell, Teboil, and St1 stations all over the country. The link provides a list of Finland stations.

You should try to fill up in Finland as much as possible, since the price is cheaper than in Norway. For petrol about 10 eurocents, for diesel almost 30 eurocents per litre.
