  6. Gerbils are very easy to take care of, and they are also cute and cuddly! They can cost from $7-20 and you can(and should) have two live in a 10 gallon tank. They aren't nocturnal like hamsters and they don't bite. Here's a good site

  10. Hamster. $10-25. Clean cage once a week, make sure they have fresh food every day and water. Make sure they have something to do like wheel and little toy's. Just buy a small book on hamsters. They are about $10. And just spend time with it every two or three days.
