  1. The Consumers Association and several Motoring Magazine Road Testers have expressed concerns over the reliability - or lack on this model.  BUT this can be taken out of context -  the car is unlikely to let you down but there can be a non ending stream on minor niggles, things like false alarm warning lights, window switches, indicator arms faults etc.

As it happens, I like Peugeots and am on my third in a row. I do a high mileage and none of the 3 ever let me down BUT none of the 3 were ever without some minor fault either. At the moment i have a faulty indicator arm, after signalling a turn it does not centre but often as not carries on to the other side and starts flashing the other indicators!  As I have a son who is a mechanic these minor faults have not worried me but had he not been available I doubt if i would buy another Peugeot (the 07's  - 207, 307, 407  are said to be the most unreliable yet).

  2. We have had one for 3 years and have found it reliable, economical on fuel and comfortable for longer journeys.

Ours is an estate and the only problem we had was a water leak from the back door which the dealer fixed with no hassle.

  3. yes i had the 307 2.00 hdi deisel turbo i found it very roomy and reliable and very comfortable i changed it for a 207 1.6

i will be changing it back as soon as i can afford it
