I have had a new clutch and clutch cable put in my 806. The problem is the pedal is still close to the floor and there is no adjuster. The garage has tried 3 different cables and its still the same. Also feels very Snatchy when pulling away. Any ideals??

  1. The 806 has an automatic cable adjuster - this obviously hasn't been engaged properly - they are replacing the cables & ignoring the adjuster.

Try pulling the clutch pedal up as far as it will go to try to reset the adjuster.

  2. Ask the garage to confirm that the cables they are using are the same length as the original one. The auto adjustment mechanism may have been put back together wrong or may be faulty. You could try adding some packing at the clutch end of the cable between the lever and the end of the cable to effectively shorten the cable and see if the clutch works better then, but this is probably not a long term solution nor acceptable when you have paid a garage to fix it.
