Peyote and mescaline where to find?

is it easy to find peyote or its chemical form Mescaline in western ny or can it only be found in the south west and what are the prices

This stuff can be dangerous to experiment with. I've only used it once many years ago and had a brilliant experience but others have not been so fortunate. I suggest you read some of the literature first. Carlos Castaneda, Julian Huxley et al have recorded some of their experiences with hallucinogenics and they can be terrifying.

Different people different bodies... You can probably get it in a "smart shop" or "head store" in NY. Theres 6 shops in the city I live in.

You can get peyote at some Indian reservations.  People glorify the use of peyote, in reality it is horrific.  Have you ever had a panic attack?  if so, it is like that for a few days.  it is not fun, it blows.  It can also bring out mental illness.

Peyote only grows naturally in South Texas, and Northern Mexico. Lophophora Williamsii or Peyote is illegal for just about everybody in the U.S. except those in the Peyote or Native American church. Currently there are semi-legal alternatives. By semi I mean the cactus themselves are legal to grow and possess but it is illegal to ingest them. I suggest you check http://www.erowid.org/plants/ .  One example and probably the best known is the trichocereus family of cacti. These are readily available on ebay and other entheogen selling websites. Do your homework don't die.
