Peyton manning or tony romo?

Which one would you rather have for fantasy football in 2008?

You can set a clock to Manning's numbers.  Every year he goes out and puts up 4000+ yards and around 30 TDs.  With Harrison back and Gonzalez emerging, he could be back on pace with his record-breaking season two years ago.

I'd say he is the definite option 2 behind Tom Brady.

However, I will say that Tony Romo is not far behind.  He's got great options to throw to, a terrific offensive line, and a running game to take the pressure off.  It's not out of the question for him to be ranked right up there with Manning, but I think Manning does (and should) have the edge.

I'd take either one in the 2nd and they are 3rd round steals.

they're almost perfectly equal. i would prefer romo, but not for football related reasons. i can somtimes get romo in the 3rd round, and his bye week is 10, peyton's is 4. So, after week 4, I can trade romo for peyton, and gain a game.

Manning. He is projected to throw nearly 40 TD's and under 12 INT's next season. Romo, with the whole Jessica simpson distraction and spending more time working on his golf swing, It is no surprise that he will throw possibly 15-20 INT's this season. Stick with Mr. Consistency...atleast until the Colts play the Pats.

peyton has proven what he is,,romo off to good start but still has some to prove,,so i'd go peyton at this point..

manning cause he is the best in nfl now. but if u take either one u r gonna get a lot of points in fantasy football both have very good players around them

HONESTLY........ when you look at peyton u see a great hall of fame qb...but his wr are old and unreliable.....but harrison is back at 100 %......Romo is a young guy who will overachieve thn fall short when it counts....T.O is the man and patrick crayton a very good 2nd option.......I take PEYTON.....and if the ship(harrison or wayne go down) youll still be able to trade straight up or get a two for one just on mannings name alone..

is this really a question? manning by far at this point in time, but in 5-8 years, i will probably say romo. he is still young too
