Pf Changs / mall good for a first date?

Question

I'm going out on a date next friday. I'd like to do something casual yet formal.

I was thinking of eating at PF Changs and then walking across the street to the upscale mall nearby. Sounds like an ok plan right?

Problem is, that the PF changs near us is usually pretty busy and often times a little loud. It's not particuarly romantic, but the food is great. Sound like a good idea?

P.F. Chang's is a fantastic idea for a first date, great food, noteworthy wine selection, and excellent service. I however would suggest you not take your date to a mall for this, I would try to locate a P.F. Chang's that has its own entrance. Your date is going to find it awkward going through a crowded mall to get to the place of dining. Good restaurant idea, bad idea for the location though.

Wouldnt you want some place a little more quiet and intimate so the two of you could talk and get to know one another without all the noise and people?  Just a thought.

PF Changs is really expensive. You could get a better deal at Golden Corral.

I think the food is really good, but if you are worried about crowds and noise, maybe make a reservation for a time that is not going to be popular, like early or later than most people want. The point is to spend time with your date and if you find a time that is a little less busy, you can do that .

Great idea. Not too loud for a first date and not too romantic for a first date. Perfect medium! Great "get-to-know" her eatery! Enjoy

I had a guy take me on a 1st date to PF Changs. It was right near a mall too.. Hmmm ..  

I liked it. The food was great & we had a good time people watching since PF's is a busy place.  

I think it's a good plan...  and I hope it was not you I went on that 1st date with..LOL!

PF Chang's is delicious, and I'm sure even if it's crowded that people watching will be fun on a date. Do it.
